The game "healthy and harmful food for teeth" for children 2-6 years old

Categories

The didactic game presented in this article is designed for children 2-6 years old, and can be used both at home and in kindergartens and development centers. The game is devoted to useful and harmful food for our teeth and stomach. After all, as we know, not always what is tasty is useful.

Of course, sweets are the most harmful to teeth: doughnuts, cookies, chocolate candies, lollipops, popcorn, and, of course, sodas. Some foods are not only bad for the teeth, but also for the stomach: pizza, French fries, hamburgers. Kids should learn from childhood to distinguish between useful and harmful food to take care of their health and if possible reduce the amount of harmful "goodies". Also learn with your child the rules of brushing teeth. On our portal you can find a special tracker brushing teeth, which will help your child not to forget about such an important event.

How to play the game "Useful and harmful food for teeth"

There are two A4 sheets in the set, on which our main characters are depicted: cheerful and sad teeth. Around each of the teeth there are foodstuffs. The cheerful tooth is surrounded by useful products: fruits and vegetables, porridge. The sad tooth is surrounded by products harmful to the teeth and stomach: sweets, popcorn, sodas, ice cream.

In order to play this game, you need to download and print 2 colored blanks on heavy paper. It is desirable to laminate them, then the game will be suitable for repeated use. Now along the dotted lines you should cut out all the details of the game, including the teeth themselves. The sorting game is ready!

Game progress:

  1. Put in front of the child 2 cut out teeth. Explain to the baby why one tooth is cheerful and the other is sad. Tell him what principle is necessary to sort the products.
  2. Let the baby try to sort the food himself, do not correct his mistakes.
  3. When he finishes his work, take each product and explain whether the child has arranged it correctly. If not correctly, explain why.

Purpose of the game:

  • to familiarize the little person with the concepts of "useful food" and "harmful food" that are new to him;
  • to strengthen the child's ability to divide foods according to the right principle;
  • to be able to explain their answer;
  • stimulate the development of fine motor skills and coordination of finger movements;
  • expand horizons, vocabulary, memory, observation and speech;
  • develop cognitive interest and diligence.

Game variants and additional advantages

  1. The child can be taught to count from 1 to 14. Each tooth is entitled to 14 of its own products.

You can also come up with your own variants of the game, which your imagination prompts you.

Option 1: put 5 products in a row in front of the child. Ask him to look carefully and memorize how they are arranged, and then turn away. Remove one of the foods or swap the foods. Ask the baby to recall and name the missing food or to sequence the cards from memory.

Option 2: Act out the situation that the food is lost somewhere in the room. Hide the food until the baby can't see it, but only in such a way that it can be found and that the young player does not lose interest in the game. Show the baby a crying teething baby and tell the baby that the baby needs to find the foods he or she has lost. Let the baby search and you help him count. At the end, replace the crying teething baby with a happy one.
