How to choose the proper fake nails?

So, if you are wondering “how do I find out what sizes I need?” Don’t worry! There is a simple way to measure your nails and find out.

To do this, you will need to measure the width of your nails at the widest part. If you do not have a soft measuring tape to measure your nails, an easy way you can do this is by:

· Firstly, you will want to stick a small piece of the tape across the width of your nail.

· Using a pen, make a mark on the tape at the widest point on both sides of your nail.

· Remove the tape, and use a ruler to measure the distance between the 2 marks in mm.

· Make a note of the number, and repeat this process with the rest of your nails.

Once you have your measurements, using the nail sizing chart, match up your sizes with the numbers you see underneath the nails.

· To ensure you’ve chosen the right nail, check the number on the back of the press on; 0 is the largest; 9 is the smallest.

· if you’re confused about which direction the nail should be facing, just check to make sure you can see the number when you put it on.

· You should match your nail size with the fake nails, If you’re between sizes, recommend going smaller so the press on doesn’t overlap on your skin.

If you're anything like me when I first started using press on nails, you might also be feeling a little bit nervous about the actual application process. Not to worry! Trust me when I say that if I can do it, *anyone* can.

Start with clean, polish-free nail beds, then remove any oily residues with rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover.

Once you have the proper sizes picked out for each finger, coat one nail bed at a time with glue.

Then align the fake nail and press it down firmly, holding for about 30-60 seconds.

How To Apply Nail Glue To Fake Nails

Put a dot of glue on the fake nail —try to avoid over-gluing. A small drop is all that you need because it will expand once it hits a flat surface.

Place the fake nail just above the cuticle (keep it straight as you don't want any crooked-looking nails) and then press down onto the nail bed.

Keep pressure applied for 20 seconds to ensure no air bubbles are present before you go on to the next one. This step is essential because if the fake nail is not secured to the nail bed, moisture may get underneath and cause lifting.

How do you remove press on nails?

Buff off the top layer then soak them in acetone cotton balls with foil wrapped around each finger for 10-15 min then they wipe right off.
